STILWELL, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents are looking into the discovery of a man's body outside a church in rural Adair County in far eastern Oklahoma.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Wednesday that the agency was asked by the Adair County Sheriff's Office to assist after the unidentified man was found Tuesday afternoon outside Pleasant Valley Holiness Church on state Highway 100.

Brown says the man appeared to have been killed Tuesday morning and that he had trauma to the head.

The body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine the cause and manner of death. Brown says OSBI will attempt to identify him through fingerprints.
