HODGEN, Okla. - Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped Monday from a Le Flore County prison.
Curtis Gibson, 51, was last seen around 4 p.m. Monday at the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center in Hodgen, Okla.
Gibson arrived at the facility in February to begin serving a two-year sentence for failing to register as a sex offender in Oklahoma County.
According to the Department of Corrections, Gibson has a number of aliases.
Gibson is described as an Indian male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 271 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
