OKEMAH, Okla. (AP) -- An Oklahoma man accused in the 2008 shooting deaths of two girls has a new arraignment date on a first-degree murder count stemming from the July death of his girlfriend.

Kevin Sweat was set to enter a plea to a first-degree murder charge Tuesday afternoon in Okfuskee County District Court in Okemah. But arraignment was rescheduled for July 10 at 1:30 p.m.

A judge last month determined there is enough evidence for Sweat to stand trial for the slaying of 23-year-old Ashley Taylor. Investigators say fragmented human bones found smoldering on the property of Sweat's father are consistent with Taylor, but are not an exact match.

Sweat also is accused in the fatal shootings of 13-year-old Taylor Placker and 11-year-old Skyla Whitaker near Weleetka.

Sweat has pleaded not guilty.
