STIGLER, Okla. - An ambulance was involved in an accident Saturday afternoon in Haskell County, just west of Stigler.
Highway patrol officials say the 2006 Ford Ambulance was struck from behind by a pickup driven by 39-year-old Jackie Denny.
Troopers say the driver of the ambulance was attempting to turn left when Denny struck it from behind.
Denny was admitted to the hospital in stable condition.
The driver of the ambulance was treated and released.
Troopers say Denny was driving too fast to avoid the collision.
