ALTUS, Okla. -- An airman from Altus air force base is behind bars.
Investigators found bomb making materials in the home of Timothy Francis Carey, 26.
Carey is charged with possession of bomb-making materials with the intent to intimidate or harm another person or damage property.
Police say the investigation started after witnesses said Carey told them he had explosives and could use them. No bombs were found in his home. However, materials for making a bomb were recovered by police.
Carey is being held in the Jackson County Jail, pending a hearing later this week.
