FAIRVIEW, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 28-year-old Woodward woman is dead from injuries suffered in a crash on a snowy U.S. Highway 412 in Major County.
Authorities say Amanda Sue Goodman died from trauma after the eastbound SUV in which she was a passenger collided with a westbound tractor-trailer. The crash occurred at about 10 a.m.
The SUV's driver, 32-year-old Justin David Goodman, was hospitalized with multiple injuries. A 4-year-old girl also in the vehicle suffered head, arm and internal injuries. The injured parties are also from Woodward.
The crash report says all were wearing seat belts but both passengers were ejected from the SUV.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, 51-year-old James R. Edwards of Twinsburg, Ohio, was unhurt.
The report says the two-lane highway was covered with snow.
