3 dead in 2-car crash in Payne County

PAYNE COUNTY, Okla. - Three people are dead after a two-car crash in Payne County.

Officials say a 1995 Jeep driven by Michell Anastasia, 49 of Perkins, Okla., was northbound in the southbound lane of U.S. 177.

A second vehicle, a 2013 Ford van driven by Mayra Ramirez, 54 of Carolina, Puerto Rico, was southbound in the southbound lane when the Jeep hit the van.

According to the accident report, Anastasia was pinned for three hours before Stillwater Fire Department could release her.

Ramirez was pinned for two and a half hours.

Both died at the scene.

One of Ramirez's three passengers were also killed.  Eliezer Claussells, 35 of Puerto Rico, was transported to Stillwater Medical Center but later died.

Ramirez's other two passengers were hospitalized with various injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
