OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma prosecutors have charged a second man with murder in the death of a prostitute featured on HBO's "Cathouse" series.
Denny Edward Phillips was charged Thursday with six counts of first-degree murder in the 2009 shooting deaths of Milagrous Barrera, Jennifer Ermey, Mark Barrientos and Brooke Phillips, who was featured on Cathouse. The two additional murder counts are because Phillips and Barrera were pregnant.
The public defender's office, appointed to represent Denny Phillips, did not immediately return a call for comment.
David Tyner pleaded guilty in May to six first-degree murder counts in the case and was sentenced to life in prison.
District Attorney David Prater says prosecutors believe Phillips ordered that Barrientos be killed because of a drug dispute and the others were killed to eliminate them as witnesses.
