TULSA - How delicious they are, Janny told us, as she pulled some of her sister's delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
Janny says her sister, Joy, shared her secret recipe long before she passed away.
It's just one way Janny says she remembers her sister.
"She always had a smile on her face."
Janny says she remembers watching TV with Joy, as she suffered from alzheimer's.
And when Joy moved into a nursing home, Janny says she would visit nearly every day.
After Joy passed away late last year, Janny says her estate was owed a refund of more than $500 from the nursing home.
"I got a check in February, and it was about half of what it should have been."
Janny says she contacted the nursing home in person a couple of times, called many more time, and wrote three letters.
But she couldn't get the entire refund, Janny says, and didn't even get a response.
"I really didn't know what to do, I did everything I could think of to do and nothing was working."
Janny finally called the 2News Problem Solvers, and we contacted the nursing home.
A representative told us there had been confusion over what Joy's insurance company had paid the nursing home.
But after we contacted them, that confusion was cleared up, and Joy's estate finally received the full refund.
"I'm very relieved that it is done, and that it's taken care of and I can just move on."
Janny says her sister lived a long, happy life, and now, Janny says she'll get on with hers.
And all those memories, including those simple delicious cookies, will certainly help.

His amazing work has garnered national recognition for a Tulsa eighth grader. But he says it pales in comparison to the thanks he receives from the children he's helping a half a world away.
