TULSA - The Web site ScripSmart.com promises to do all the leg work so you can make quick, informed, decisions before you buy.
Randy got a gift card followed by big disappointment.
He bought some gasoline and when he went inside to buy a cup of coffee he says "The card was declined and I found out when I used my card at the pump it automatically put a hold on the rest of my money. It may be in the fine print but it's not right."
The folks at ScripSmart.com aim to take the gotcha out of gift cards.
The site reviews and ranks retailer gift cards.
And you can pick and chose based on what features are most important to you. It spells out the perks and drawbacks of each card rated.
It also runs down federal and state laws regarding gift cards.
If you want to buy a card from a retailer not rated on ScripSmart remember any fees relating to the card must be spelled out on the card itself or its packaging so you know before you buy exactly what you're getting.
