TULSA - Tyson Baker goes to area schools and gives away free T-shirts.
"It started after I heard about a child being bullied for wearing the same shirt to school every day," he said. "And I admired the simple business model buy one give one. I saw first hand at a donation how a simple shirt gave a child a great self esteem."
Tyson owns Reach Clothing, a company that gives away a shirt for ever shirt it sells. The company name Reach is short for To Reach and Be Reached.
Recently during a visit to Tulsa's Mark Twain Elementary School in Tulsa he gave away 500 shirts and with it a message to stop bullying. A message the children are taking to heart.
Tyson says he to was a victim of bullying growing up. It was minor, he says, compared to what some kids go through. But he says it's time for it to stop. His goal is to take his company and his message world wide saying
"One day I want to help out one million children," he said. "That is my goal."
