TULSA - Libby Auld spends a lot of her time delivering food to guests in her downtown restaurant, Elote.  But she's delivering a lot more than that to the city of Tulsa.

She's making a difference in so many ways.

"To me that's what's important because you're kind of changing the way that people live," said Libby.

Some of those people are at Tulsa's Westside YMCA.  Libby started a race called the Elote run, with all the proceeds helping to to send children to a YMCA camp.

"We cant do that without people like Libby and other donors stepping up to make sure that we can keep our promise and never turn a kid away from camp because they don't have the ability to pay," said Laura Hailey-Butler of the YMCA.

Libby got the idea to help after sending her own children to camp.

"We're fortunate that we can afford to send them to that camp but there are children who can't afford to go that camp," said Libby.

When she's not organizing runs, Libby's also the president of the Downtown Deco District Neighborhood Association and she's leading the effort to bring more shopping to downtown Tulsa.

"We're exploding with restaurants.  We've got some fun entertainment stuff to do but we're lacking the shopping and that's how we're really going to be able to compete with other cities and their downtowns," said Libby.

Libby fought to bring the popular pop-up shops to downtown during the holiday shopping season and now five of them have decided to stay.

"Libby's a light bulb and a spark plug with whatever she does," said Hailey-Butler.  "I think you can see that with her business downtown," said.

But for Libby it seems being owner of Elote is almost a part time job.

Making a difference, is her full time work.
