TULSA - A major street project in south Tulsa is running behind schedule.

Yale, 61st to 71st

Drivers along Yale have seen enough of the road work but they're going to see it for a while longer.

Crews are widening Yale between 61st and 71st Streets.

They're adding a new lane in each direction.

This project was supposed to be completed months ago but is running behind schedule.

The city is working in conjunction with the county on this one.

There's no word from the city on why the project has been delayed. The city is hoping it will be done this month, but even that now looks unlikely.

244, Memorial to Highway 169

More changes this week on I-244 in the memorial to Highway 169 corridor.

Drivers will be shifted onto new lanes on eastbound 244 through Wednesday.

Be sure to take it slow through there as drivers get used to the changes.

It's all part of the massive pavement reconstruction project.
