TULSA - The new year is bringing in plenty of new road construction.
One of the largest projects of the new year will kick off in the next couple of months north of Tulsa.
Highway 75 at 116th St. North
ODOT will be building a new interchange at Highway 75 and 116th Street North.
116th will eventually go over Highway 75.
During the constructions some detours will be in place.
ODOT says they don't have an exact start date for the project yet but it will likely be sometime in January.
Peoria at 61st
In midtown, there are new lane closures on Peoria Avenue.
South Peoria is now limited to one lane in each direction at 61st Street.
It's part of the project to widen 61st between Peoria and Riverside.
The lane closures will continue on Peoria for four to six weeks.
Garnett at I-244
Also a reminder, there are more ramp closures because of the I-244 pavement reconstruction project.
The eastbound 244 on and off ramps from Garnett are closed until late January.
