TULSA - Just in time for the holiday shopping season there's new project in midtown right in front of Utica Square.
21st, Utica to Yorktown
Crews have started work today on a sewer repair project at 21st and Utica.
They've blocked off one lane of 21st street in each direction from Utica to Yorktown.
Only one lane in each direction is now open.
These lane closures will be in place for about four weeks.
61st, Peoria to Riverside
Meanwhile, crews are still widening 61st Street between Riverside and Peoria.
Drivers can expect delays on 61st, as they make their way through the construction during the rush hours.
The project won't be complete until March.
IDL bridge repair
And a reminder, the eastbound lanes of I-244, at the southwest corner of the IDL are still closed.
Crews are busy repairing a bridge there after a truck rammed into it a couple of weeks ago.
Drivers coming into downtown across the highway 75 bridge, are detoured onto the south leg of the IDL and the eastbound lanes of the Broken Arrow Expressway.
Drivers can continue to expect big traffic backups during the morning rush.
