TULSA - More lane closures are now in place because of the I-44 widening project -- this time on Riverside.
One lane of Riverside is now closed in each direction at I-44. You can expect delays there, and ODOT isn't sure how long Riverside will be narrowed.
There are new problems for drivers in Osage County. State Highway 11 is now shut down at Red Eagle Branch Creek, about one mile west of Barnsdall.
The closure will affect both the east and westbound lanes for the next two months.
This is all part of a bridge replacement project. Officials say the bridge was damaged by heavy rains early last month, and is considered structurally deficient.
Drivers can use State Highway 123, 99, and U.S. 60 as a detour during the closure.
In south Tulsa, crews are still widening Yale between 61st and 71st Streets. They're adding a new lane in each direction on Yale.
The city is working in conjunction with the county on this project. Still no word on exactly when it will be done.
