TULSA - Getting through the construction zone on I-244 is about to get a lot tougher for drivers.

Eastbound 244, Memorial to 169

Eastbound 244 will be narrowed to just one lane between Memorial and Highway 169.

That will start at 6:30 Tuesday morning and stay that way through Saturday morning.

ODOT says drivers should expect significant delays and suggest they find a different route.

Of course, that's easier said than done since there's also construction in the eastbound lanes of the B.A.

Highway 10, Nowata County

A major Green Country highway is now shut down.

Highway 10 just west of 169 in Nowata county closed this morning.

It will stay closed until 5 Tuesday evening so crews can do some work on a railroad there.

That's just south of Elliott on Highway 10.

You can use highways 169, 60 and 75 as detours.

Yale, 61st to 71st

In Tulsa, crews are wrapping up their work on Yale between 61st and 71st streets.

They're adding a new lane in each direction on Yale.

The city is working in conjunction with the county on the project.

The work should be done next month.
