Orange Barrel Update: Changes this week for 2 road projects

TULSA - The work to replace a lot of the pavement on I-244 in Tulsa has led to another ramp closure.

244 WB on-ramp from Memorial

The westbound 244 on-ramp from Memorial closed on Friday and will stay closed until the middle of August.

Drivers can use the Mingo or Sheridan ramps instead.

10th & Elgin

In downtown Tulsa there will be a change for drivers because of the on-going construction of a new roundabout at 10th and Elgin.

Starting today and for the next couple of months, drivers going east on 10th at Cincinnati will be directed to 13th to continue eastbound.

Elgin also remains closed there because of the project.  It's scheduled for completion in September.

Sheridan & Latimer

Also all this week, North Sheridan will be narrowed at East Latimer Place.

That's in north Tulsa.

All this week Sheridan will be narrowed to just one lane in each direction there.

That's because crews will be moving a waterline.
