TULSA - More changes are in place now because of the I-244 rehab project in Tulsa.

I-244 rehab work

The work runs from Memorial to the 244/I-44 split.

There will be an additional lane closure in a portion of the east bound lanes.

Also the eastbound 244 off ramp to Mingo closed this morning and will stay closed through mid-June.

As a detour, you can use the Memorial exit and then take Admiral over to Mingo.

The 244 rehab project is scheduled to wrap up next April.

11th, 193rd to Creek Turnpike

Also, out in that same area of Tulsa, 11th street is closed right now between 193rd East Avenue and the Creek Turnpike.

Crews are doing some sewer work there.

11th will stay closed until May 30.

Broken Arrow Expressway bridge decks

Things were dicey for drivers on the Broken Arrow Expressway over the weekend with it narrowed to just one lane in each direction.

Traffic was backed up all weekend long.

The good news is, that was only temporary.  Two lanes in each direction are now back open.

One lane remains closed in each direction though while crews fix two bridge decks between Harvard and just east of Yale.

The project should be done in about seven months.
