TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A Cleveland County judge has ruled in favor of an Oklahoma House member in a lawsuit brought by a challenger who contested the incumbent's 16-vote margin of victory.

District Judge Tracy Schumacher's 27-page ruling Tuesday found that Republican Rep. Aaron Stiles had beat Democrat Paula Roberts for the House District 45 seat.

Stiles says he's glad the court fight is over and called the lawsuit "a fishing expedition."

Messages left with Roberts' attorneys seeking comment late Tuesday were not immediately returned.

Roberts alleged that ineligible voters were allowed to cast ballots while some valid registered voters were not, among other complaints.
