A tight governor race. A mad dash to DC for a last-minute vote. A broken-down helicopter. Those were a few of the highlights as 2NEWS crews fanned out across the state to provide continuously updated election coverage throughout the Tuesday primary.
11:01 p.m. - Drew Edmondson concedes victory to Lt. Governor Jari Askins. Saying it was a close and fair race, Edmondson gives his full support to Askins. (Marla Carter - Reporter)
10:37 p.m. - The crowd at the Askins watch party is anxiously awaiting for the Lt. Governor to speak again. The numbers are close, very close. (Jason Grubbs - Reporter)
10:35 p.m. - Mary Fallin says she is ready for the challenge it will take to be the next Governor. She plans to spend the next 4 months traveling the state campaigning...her focus will be on creating a better business environment for Oklahomans. (Deana Silk - Reporter)
10:04 p.m. - Drew Edmondson has yet to make an appearance, but is in the hotel watching the numbers come in with his family. (Marla Carter - Reporter)
10:03 p.m. - Mary Fallin makes it to OKC addresses supporters and commends Sen. Brogdon on his campaign.
10:01 p.m. - Jari Askins arrives to clapping supporters chanting "Jari, Jari, Jari!" She tells the crowd the race is close and there's still a ways to go.
9:40 p.m. - The crowd is excited gearing up for Fallin's arrival. She should be here by 10pm. First time I've ever covered a watch party without the candidate!! Everyone is keeping fingers crossed she gets here. (Deana Silk - Reporter)
9:37 p.m. - We are waiting on Edmondson to arrive to the party. Despite Askins lead campaign is staying positive. (Marla Carter - Reporter)
9:30 p.m. - Brogdon arrives to thank his supporters and admit defeat in the election. (Casey Roebuck - Reporter)
8:57 p.m. - Even though it's looking as if the race is over for Brogdon, his supporters are in good spirits as they await his arrival from Oklahoma City. (Casey Roebuck, Reporter)
8:22 p.m. - The helicopter that was supposed to bring him (Brogdon) from OKC to tulsa is broken down. So his camp is now driving. Expected to arrive here around 9 pm.
8:09 p.m. - Hundreds of supporters have gathered at Brogdon's watch party in south Tulsa. We're told he just addressed the crowd at his watch party in OKC. While the results show his numbers are slipping. Supporters here are praying that will change as the numbers continue to come in from the election board. (Casey Roebuck, Reporter)

6:20 p.m. - Brogdon supporters begin to arrive at the watch party. Brogdon is expected to fly from OKC to Tulsa via helicopter after his watch party ends there after the poles close at 7 pm. He's expected to arrive in Tulsa by around 8 pm. (Casey Roebuck - Reporter)
5:15 p.m. - Just got word Fallin has voted she is in a car headed to Dulles airport where jet is waiting for her. They need to be wheels up in air by 7:30 eastern time to get to okc by 10pm. (Deana Silk - Reporter)

3:37 p.m. - Casey just arrived at Brogdon's watch party at Hope Fellowship Worship Center in south Tulsa. Brogden is expected to arrive around 8 pm.
3:28 p.m. - Edmondson crew arrived. Getting set up for 5 and 6 liveshots. Been told that Drew Edmondson will continue campaigning until the polls close at 7. (Marla Carter - Reporter)

2:34 p.m. - Just talked with Patty Bryant at the Tulsa County Election board. They were anticipating a 25% voter turnout, but as of about an hour ago, they were only seeing about 19%. (Beth Burnett - Reporter)
