Missing McAlester man found; Silver alert canceled

MCALESTER, Okla. - A silver alert issued Wednesday for a McAlester man has been canceled.

According to McAlester police, 69-year-old Virgil Rigsby was found in a men's shelter in Oklahoma City.

Police first issued the alert after his family notified law enforcement they last heard from him on Oct. 13 before shortly before boarded a Greyhound Bus to Oklahoma City carrying only a suitcase and a black trash bag.
