TULSA - A man was arrested after police say he attempted to kidnap a 6-year-old girl while she was riding a bicycle.
Frankie Foster, Jr., 32, was arrested on a kidnapping complaint and other warrants Friday.
Foster was reported to have approached the girl and attempted to push the victim off her path to a spot against a residential fence near trash cans, according to Foster’s arrest report.
The victim was observed by witnesses to be screaming her mother in an effort to get help, police said.
Witnesses told police when adults confronted Foster, he stated “He was God” and fled the scene.
After Foster was taken into custody, he told police he went to help a screaming child that had fallen off the bike who was taking her to get help, the report states.
Foster in being held on $140,000 bond. He is schedule to appear in court Oct. 16.
