Woman found stabbed in east Tulsa, dies in hospital; son arrested

TULSA - An east Tulsa woman found on her front porch with a stab wound to her abdomen died in a Tulsa hospital late Friday afternoon.
An exterminator found 43-year-old Veronica Stick in the 3000 block of East 24th Street around 3:30 p.m. She died around 4 p.m.
Her son, 20-year-old William Stick, was arrested around 8 p.m. for the murder.
Authorities say Stick was missing from the home and found his car abandoned. Police arrested him on foot around 2900 South Peoria.
