TULSA - Voters across Green Country approved several bonds Tuesday, including a multi-million dollar proposal for Tulsa Public Schools.
The $38 million bond for technology upgrades at Tulsa Public Schools passed by a 2-1 margin (http://bit.ly/181dH4J).
Two bonds passed for Muskogee Public Schools, including $47 million for capital improvements and $2 million for new CNG buses (http://bit.ly/181dMFy).
In McAlester, voters overwhelmingly approved a ballot issue to pay for street improvements.
Voters in Rogers County agreed to extend a 1-percent sales tax to repair county roads and bridges.
