U.S. Geological Survey records 2 earthquakes overnight in Central Oklahoma

JONES, Okla. - Residents in Central Oklahoma were rattled by two earthquakes overnight.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the first quake struck at 1:21 a.m. near Jones, Okla.
The epicenter for the magnitude 3.3 quake is about 15 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
A second quake, a magnitude 2.8, occurred 15 minutes later at 1:36 a.m.
This quake was centered further east, close to Shawnee in the same area shaken by the strongest earthquake in state history last November.
