TULSA - The Humane Society of Tulsa is still trying to find homes for about half of the 47 dogs that were handed over by a breeder last Wednesday.
“A lot of them still need homes so we’re looking for as much support as we can get,” said Society spokesman Dan Canfield.
The dogs, mostly Jack Russell Terriers, were turned in to the Human Society after the breeder decided not to renew their breeder’s license.

The dogs all have had checkups, been treated for fleas and ticks and have been spayed or neutered.
If you’re interested in adopting one of the dogs, you can contact the Humane Society at 918-495-DOGS. The Humane Society of Tulsa is located at 6232 E. 60th St. in Tulsa.
