TULSA - The University of Tulsa is in the process of purchasing an historic Tulsa mansion.
University officials say they will close July 13 on Skelly Mansion, located in the Maple Ridge neighborhood.
The mansion will serve as the home for Geoffrey Orsak, the new TU president.
Officials say Orsak and his family will live primarily on the second floor of the home while meetings and events will take place on the first floor.
Skelly Mansion is listed on the national register of historic places.
