MIAMI, Fla. - A University of Oklahoma student from Broken Arrow was named the winner of the Dr. Pepper Tuition Challenge at the site of this year’s college football championship.
Kelsie Berg, 18, will be presented with the $100,000 scholarship at the BCS Orange Bowl halftime show Monday night in Miami.
Berg, a 2012 Broken Arrow High School graduate, was voted one of five finalists to participate in the Final Tuition Throw Off.
Berg's video entry features her singing to the theme song from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” about the costs of higher education.
Berg is majoring in mass communications and plans on attending law school.
