UPDATE: Tyrone Woodfork appeared in court Tuesday morning via video conference.  The judge entered a not guilty plea on Woodfork's behalf.

His preliminary hearing is set for May 11 at 9 a.m.

TULSA -- A man accused of a brutal attack on an elderly couple in Tulsa was formally charged Monday.

Tyrone Woodfork, 20, faces armed robbery, burglary and first-degree murder charges for the death of 85-year-old Nancy Strait.

She and her 90-year-old husband, Bob Strait, were attacked in their north Tulsa home March 14.

Bob Strait has been in and out of the hospital since the attack.

Woodfork was reportedly found in the Strait's stolen vehicle.

Police say there could be more arrests.
