COFFEYVILLE, Kan. - Two men are recovering after they were shot at a Coffeyville restaurant Sunday evening.
According to eyewitnesses, a gunman confronted the men before shooting them at the Sonic Drive-In.
Police identified the victims as Joseph Cardillo, 30, and Damien Illaodo, 24, both from Girard, Kan.
Authorities say both men sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were taken to Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.
When police arrived at the scene they found the suspect, 27-year-old Robert Jay Bocock, still there. He was arrested on the spot.
Bocock, who resides in Coffeyville, faces several charges including attempted murder in the second degree, aggravated assault and possession and discharge of a firearm.
Records show Bocock served time in prison for burglary and was on probation for another burglary from 2010.
Police are still investigating what led to the shooting.
