Two new construction projects

TULSA - There are a few construction projects to look out for this week.

The first project is near 111th Street South and Sheridan Road.

The intersection will be closed Wednesday so construction crews can resurface 500 feet on each side of the intersection

Tulsa county teamed with the cities of Tulsa and Bixby to expand and refit the intersection.

If the weather doesn't cause any delays, the intersection is scheduled to reopen Friday.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, 1st Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Hartford Avenue and Lansing Avenue.

The project will replace the Union Pacific Railroad crossing.
