TULSA - Two more people have been arrested in connection with a child neglect case that resulted in a 3-year-old shot in the leg.

Darren Wolfe, 45, and Cynthia Abel, 44, were arrested Wednesday night, according to the Tulsa County jail.

The father of the 3-year-old who was shot in October, Christopher Abel, 24, was arrested early Wednesday morning.

All three are facing child neglect charges in the Oct. 12 shooting.

According to court documents, they failed "to properly supervise and/or provide a safe environment" when the child was shot.

The charges were filed Nov. 16.

The suit also alleges Christopher Abel allowed his son "to stay in a home in filthy conditions including trash, debris and medications."

Wolfe is also charged with possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.

All are being held on a $50,000 bond for child neglect. Wolfe has an additional $50,000 bond for the gun charge.
