TULSA - Authorities are investigating a shooting at an east Tulsa apartment complex.
Police responded to the call just before 5 a.m. at Shadybrook Retirement Community near 41st Street and South Garnett.
Police on the scene told 2NEWS a resident was hosting a party around 5 a.m. and when he wanted the party to end he pulled out a gun.
A struggle ensued and the resident and one of his guests were shot.
Police say one of the victims was shot in the abdomen, the other in the arm. They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Tulsa police spokeswoman Officer Jillian Roberson says police have identified the two men involved as 59-year-old James Littlejohn and 39-year-old John Cobb.
Police are still investigating the incident. They believe alcohol may have been involved.
Shadybrook caters to the elderly and younger adults with physical or mental disabilities.
