The Turner Turnpike has been opened after a five-hour closure from Tulsa to OKC occurred due to a rash of wildfires.
Thousands of acres have been burned and dozens of structures have been damaged in the day's flames.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the turnpike closed at 5 p.m. and opened just after 10.
