TULSA, Okla. - More than 30 yoga enthusiasts were up early to usher in the fall season, Saturday. Inner Peace Yoga studio organized the first ever Tulsa Yoga Festival.
Owner Meghan Donnelly said her hope is to get more people aware of the benefits that the exercise can have on their bodies and lives. The first ever festival is part of a larger event, National Yoga Month.
As part of the event, the group did 108 Sun-Salutations a yoga movement that takes a lot of movement and discipline. Donnelly hopes the event will become an annual celebration.
