TULSA - A woman suspected of conducting child care without a license and accused of child neglect was scheduled to appear in court Friday.
Chelsea Day was arrested Thursday after refusing to cooperate with a Department of Human Services investigation.
According to Day's booking report, the 24-year-old Tulsa woman had been advertising on Craiglist. A search of the website reveals at least four October posts advertising child care services matching Day's description.
While police were assisting DHS at Day's home, another woman arrived to drop off her child, according to the report. The woman said she been taking her 1-year-old child to Day for around six months, paying $75 a week.
Another parent is accusing Day of neglecting her 1-year-old daughter, leading to an injury.
During the investigation, Day admitted to taking care up to six children at different lengths and times.
Day is being held on $53,000 bond.
