TULSA - It's back to school time, and one Tulsa group is working to make the first day special for some children in need.

For the fifth year in a row, the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors worked Thursday to pack more than 300 backpacks for area students.

The students were chosen by Family and Children Services.

Inside each, there is a complete outfit, including socks and underwear, customized for each child. A brand new outfit just in time for the first day back

"Most of the these kids have never received anything new so this is huge to them, to be able to open something up that's their very own. that's brand new, because for most of them that doesn't happen," said Shelley Carson, with the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors.

Next week, the children will attend a party in their honor, where they'll receive the backpacks.
