TULSA - Tulsa Public Schools' McClure Elementary was locked down briefly Thursday morning due to a student's threat.
District officials say the campus went on modified lockdown at 9:06 a.m. after a student left the school, threatening to get weapons and return.
McClure Elementary is located on 61st Street between Peoria and Lewis.
During a modified lockdown, students and teachers can move freely inside the school but all outside doors are locked.
Officials say the student was located later and remains off campus. The student did not have a weapon.
The lockdown was lifted at 9:49 a.m.
