TULSA - An overnight gas station robbery leaves Tulsa police searching for a suspect.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. at Phillips 66 at 51st and Yale.
Officers say a man went in, demanded money, saying he had a gun but he never showed it.
Police say it wasn't a typical robbery.
"He came in and on one hand he had a rainbow sock and on the other he had a gray sock," said Cpl. Jerrod Hart. "He had some big purple glasses and I guess because of his appearance, the clerk thought he was joking with him."
An employee at a nearby Taco Bell claimed the suspect left the scene on a bike.
Police hope to find the suspect with the gas station's surveillance video.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS.
