TULSA - At least one person has been shot near 61st and Peoria, an intersection under the microscope since four women were killed in an apartment nearby last month.
Tulsa police responded to a call of shots fired at Prescott Woods Apartments around 8:50 p.m. Friday.
Emergency responders have not yet released the condition of the victim, but authorities say they have a woman in custody.
In the wake of the murders at Fairmont Terrace Jan. 7, Tulsa leaders have made the area a focus. Mayor Dewey Bartlett has even pledged to send Tulsa's City Council a proposal to establish more apartment accountability by the end of the month.
