TULSA - Tulsa police say there was no shooting at a midtown Tulsa home Thursday. Instead a mentally ill caller phoned in the fake story.
Tulsa police dispatch confirms a call came in for a shooting and officers responded around 8:40 a.m. to a home in the 47th and Irvington area near 51st and Sheridan.
Police on the scene quickly determined no shooting had occurred. Instead, the woman who reported she shot multiple people was determined to be unstable.
No other information was immediately available.
