TULSA - Tulsa police have arrested a man for allegedly attacking another man with flashlight at a north Tulsa convenience store.
Police said that shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a call reporting the incident at the store on the 500 block of N. Sheridan.
The alleged victim told the investigating officers he had driven to the store from his home and was attacked by a man armed with a large metal flashlight as he stepped out of his car.
Police said the man who they arrested for the attack, Adam Wayne Curry, 40, had been released from serving time in prison and reportedly was trying to get more money from the alleged victim.
Reportedly, the victim had purchased tools from Curry's girlfriend which she sold him while Curry was in prison.
The victim was transported to a hospital for a head wound, said police.
Curry, charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, is being held at the Tulsa County jail on a $30,000 bond.
