TULSA - The Tulsa Police Department is looking for persons of interest it believes was involved in a shooting over the weekend that left one man dead and another in the hospital.
Police were called to Fairmont Terrance apartment complex near 61st and South Peoria Avenue around 11 p.m. Saturday and found 24-year-old Quincy Jones fatally shot.
Homicide detectives believe the man was shot due to an altercation between two groups of individuals.
Police have been investigating the case and are looking into the whereabouts of two persons of interest.
The first person of interest is described as 20-year-old Jamel Saafir who is approximately 6 feet 1 inch, 220 pounds.
The second person of interest is described as 20-year-old Kris Bridges, 6 feet tall and around 175 pounds with a teardrop tattoo under his left eye.
Officials say four hours after the shooting of Jones, police were called back to the same complex after residents reported a 17-year-old male had been shot.
Homicide detectives believe Jamel's brother, 24-year-old Tyriq Saafir, was shot in retaliation for Jones' murder.
Police say Saafir was shot by a black male around 5 feet 8 inches tall wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt.
Jones was the 31st Tulsa homicide in 2012.
