TULSA - Police are interviewing witnesses on the scene of a deadly overnight shooting.
Around 1:15 a.m. Monday, police were dispatched to the Towne Square Apartments near Young and North Wheeling.
When they arrived to the scene, they found between buildings a 20-year-old man, a resident of the apartments, dead with at least one gunshot wound.
The medical examiner and police investigating right now -- but so far, they aren't getting much help from witnesses.
“We've gotten very little cooperation thus far,” Tulsa Police Department Capt. Wendell Franklin told 2NEWS. “Once again it's still early. We have not conducted a canvas of the area yet. That's being conducted right now.”
Officers said they received a call of shots fired about 30 minutes before, but were unable to find anything.
