TULSA - Investigators believe they have arrested the man suspected of using an American flag to steal from a Tulsa car dealership.

Tulsa police say Charlie Carter is the man seen sliding the flag under the shop's door on Hi-Tech Motors surveillance video.

2NEWS Reporter Dan Pearlman met with the store owner last week, who said the man stole $4,000 from under the locked door.

Hi-Tech owner Mike Asfour even pledged $500 to anyone offering information leading to the suspect's capture.

"I want him in jail," Asfour said at the time.

Carter was arrested just before midnight Tuesday and booked into the Tulsa County Jail.  Officers picked him up on outstanding warrants after receiving a tip that he was in the area near 31st and Memorial.
