TULSA - A drunk driver leaving a Tulsa bar just after midnight plowed through a fence and into a tree, according to police.
Nicholas Hingey, 37, was arrested for driving under the influence.
Police say Hingey was leaving Buccaneer Bar near 11th and Harvard when the accident occurred. He was reportedly driving between 30 and 40 mph when he drove through a fence and hit a tree behind the bar.
Police say Hingey was so intoxicated he couldn't stand on his own.
He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on $1,000 bond.
