TULSA - A Tulsa man suspected in two robberies was arrested Wednesday night following a brief foot chase by police.
They apprehended 36-year-old Courtney Fletcher after responding to an alarm at the Fiesta Mart on the 6500 block of E. 21st Street for a reported robbery.
Officers in the area of E. 21 St. and S. Sheridan Rd. seeing him at a nearby grocery store approached him at which point he fled on foot to E. 23 Street. There officers caught him as he was trying to get into his vehicle.
Victims for robberies at the Fiesta Mart and another at Kung Fu Kitchen identified him as the robber.
Fletcher was arrested for robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree robbery, assault and battery on police officer and obstructing a police officer.
