Tulsa police are investigating a north Tulsa shooting of a juvenile male that occurred July 4.
Police responded to a shooting around 10 p.m. near 600 East 50th St. North.
The juvenile was walking in the area with his friends when he heard several shots; they then ran off.
Tulsa Fire Department and Tulsa Police Department found a juvenile had collapsed in the middle of the street after being shot once in the stomach.
The victim was transported to the hospital.
The name and age of the victim has not been released. There has been no word on the juvenile’s condition.
Fireworks were going in the area around the same time of the incident, so police are not sure if witnesses even realized a gun had been fired.
There has been no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
