The ticket, which was sold from a self-service lottery machine at a Food Pyramid on 39th and South Peoria Avenue, represents a $710,000 prize for the Tulsa native after taxes.
Beckert chose the numbers by using the Easy Pick method, and successfully matched five of five white balls. The winning digits were 2, 8, 22, 35 and 37.
According to the Oklahoma Lottery Commission, Beckert plans to invest his winnings for his family's future.
Saturday's drawing marks the 29th prize of $1 million or more from the Oklahoma Lottery.
